 Heather Graham, PCAM®, CMCA®, AMS® - President & CEO
Heather served, in 2008, as President of the Board of Directors for the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of CAI. She received the Rising Star award in 1998, the Committee Chairperson of the Year award in 2002 and the Volunteer of the Year award in 2003. Heather was also one of the first five managers in the nation to be inducted into the Associa(r) "Ambassadors Circle" in 2004. Over the fifteen years Heather has been with CMC, she has managed large scale homeowner associations, been a Portfolio Manager for some of our most prestigious communities and acted in the capacity of HOA Division Director. As the Executive Vice President, Heather was responsible for management, marketing and general community consulting services.
 Nicholas J. Mazzarella, MBA, PCAM®, CMCA® - Executive Vice President
Nick has over twenty years in Community Association Management. Nick joined CMC six years ago with a significant depth of experience in managing very large HOAs with extensive amenities. Prior to joining CMC's executive team, Nick served as the General Manager of a 2,000 unit Active-adult, Country Club community in Gainesville, VA. This luxury community won CAI's 2006 Humanitarian of the Year Award. Nick holds a MBA in Finance, has been an active member of CAI for seventeen years, and is a member of the Community Managers International Association, serving professional on-site community association managers. Additional academic achievements include the Community Association Institute leadership training program and graduate of the Prince William County Community Leadership Institute.
 Nancy Murphy - Vice President of Operations
Nancy has been with CMC for fourteen years. In her tenure, she has held many different positions. As the Vice President of Operations, Nancy has an understanding and oversees Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Information Technologies, Facilities Management and many other corporate administrative processes. Nancy is a member of SHRM.
 Steven P. Philbin, M ed., CMCA®, ARM® - Director of Corporate Programs and Administrative Services
Steven is a graduate of Ohio University and has over twenty years of experience in property management, including university housing as well as apartment and community association management. Steve began his career with CMC as the Director of Administrative Services in our Maryland Division. He has managed HOA and Condominium communities in Maryland. As the Director of Corporate Programs and Administrative Services, Steve is responsible for operation functions including maintenance, engineering, transitions, and support services. In addition, he handles the various corporate programs that are offered to our associations.
 Hilary Lape, CMCA®, AMS® - Division Director - HOA Division
Hilary graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Statistics. Hilary has 9 years of experience in the Community Management industry. She has been with CMC since August 2006. While with CMC, Hilary managed Lee's Hill Community Association in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Lee's Hill is a large-scale community of 1,963 homes. Prior to managing Lee's Hill, Hilary served as Facilities Manager for the Reston Association, one of the largest Homeowner Associations in the United States. Hilary was responsible for overseeing the management of the facilities, including 14 swimming pools, 60 miles of walking trails, 48 tennis courts, 36 totlots, and well over 1,300 acres of open space. Hilary was responsible for creating a bi-annual budget for maintenance and operation of the facilities, part of a $12,000,000 total annual budget.
 Jan Ward - Division Director
Jan Ward has been with CMC since 2000 and began her career with our firm as a Portfolio Manager where she specialized in the management of Garden/Townhome and new, developing communities. Throughout her tenure with CMC, Jan's Boards have consistently praised her ability to provide them with sound guidance to help them move forward in a proactive and positive manner. A consummate professional, she has a 'get things done' style of management and is a stickler for getting it done right. Jan now serves as one of two HOA Division Directors and is responsible for the oversight and training of portfolio managers, client interfacing as well as to ensure that a high level of service is provided to our clients consistent with our company expectations. Jan is a recent recipient of the Ambassador's Circle Award.
 Tony Rouhani, CMCA® - Vice President - Division Director
Tony has over twenty five years of management experience and has been with our firm for over six years. Tony served as CMC’s General Manager for the Kentlands Citizens Assembly, a neo-traditional planned community with 1,700 homes, extensive amenities and an active program of social activities. Tony has been a Portfolio Manager for CMC handling some of CMC’s most visible and complex clients. Tony works with the Division Director to provide leadership and guidance for our team of managers in our Condominium Division.
 Christa Brady, CMCA®, AMS® - Division Director - Condominium Division
Prior to joining CMC, Christa spent seven years in the apartment management industry as an on-site Manager for garden-style apartment communities in Roanoke, Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina. Christa's communities excelled in performance and were awarded her company's White Glove Award annually for outstanding curb-appeal.
As a Portfolio Manager at CMC, Christa consistently performed with a portfolio of condominium properties including developing communities, communities that have just transitioned from developer to owner control, established communities, as well as active adult communities. She is a very "hands-on" manager who focuses on financial health, annual planning, on-site management team building, contract administration, facilities management, comprehensive monthly reporting and, most importantly, outstanding customer service at all levels.
Christa successfully completed six Professional Management Development Program (PMDP) courses, become an active member of Community Associations Institute (CAI) our industry trade association, holds a B.A. degree from Virginia Tech with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and has most recently been recognized with an Associa® Individual Achievement award.
 Thomas Garver, CMCA® - Vice President - Maryland Office
Tom has been managing common interest communities since 1982. After serving in the United States Navy, he earned his BA in Psychology at Mount Union College and a MA in Public Administration at Central Michigan University. Tom was the President and CEO of Condominium Management Services in New Jersey (an Associa company) prior to joining the CMC management team earlier this year. He is an active member of CAI and currently serves on the Membership Committee.
 Jerry Berman - Vice President of Developer Services
Jerry has over 30 years experience in real estate and finance. He earned his BS Degree in Accounting at Pennsylvania State University and his MBA in Finance from Drexel University. Jerry’s experience includes land acquisition, development & finance, sales & marketing, loan structuring and negotiation and service on dozens of common interest community Boards. Jerry has superior leadership skills, and demonstrates thoughtful analysis in decision making. He has a demonstrated strength in teaching and mentoring and developing a culture of personal growth through team interaction, focus and service.
